Bakemonogatari

Several Monogatari fans will disagree with what I am about to say, but I think you should watch the series in anime release order. Here is my reason why, please listen: overall I think the series is okay. Some parts are good. Some are boring. But after watching Season 2 (including Hanamonogatari), I was pretty indifferent to the series as a whole. Did not have a drive to continue. So, since I was surrounded by bloodthirsty Monogatari fans, I decided why not and did Kizumonogatari in one day. AND I LOVED IT! Nekketsu and Reiketsu are probably my favorite parts of Monogatari. They saved my interest in this franchise.

My reasoning is that by watching them directly after Bakemonogatari, you are peaking so fucking early that the remainder of the series will feel lite in comparison. So if you're like me and think Bakemonogatari is very good but not incredible, then I don't think watching Kizu after Bake is a good idea. But if you think Bakemonogatari is one of your new favorite anime, you give that shit a 10/10, then at that point you're going to love the rest of the franchise no matter what, fuck it might as well watch it in novel order.
