It’s rare…and I do mean RARE when the anime community can come together and agree on one thing. I mean, it’s about as rare as a New Orleans Saints victory at this point (October 2025). But somehow, for a couple of weeks in the Fall, when we all were looking for something to distract us from the horrors of the 2016 Presidential Election, anime fans were enthralled by the training and romance of Yuri and Victor. It seems like every freaking week, something amazing happened, culminating in a kiss that was heard ‘round the internet. And then…the show ended. And it’s a crying shame that we didn’t get the promised movie or a second season. But sometimes it's like that. One and Done. But that one was magical.
