Oh, Bunny Drop. Sweet little Bunny Drop. The story of a bachelor who suddenly finds himself guardian of a little girl that his grandfather sired before his death. It’s a tale as old as time, really. I’ll give you a few minutes to finish playing “Sweet Home Alabama” in your head. But while I jest, Bunny Drop is a true slice-of-life story about the ups and downs of single parenthood and also about how people try to do the best they can with the cards they are dealt in life. Whether it’s the plight of a divorced mother raising a rambunctious son or a housewife sick to death of her mother-in-law, Bunny Drop immerses us in the slice-of-life of these characters in an intimate, gentle way. And contrary to what you may have heard, there is NO manga for this series. None whatsoever. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it, dawg gone it.
