s-CRY-ed (pronounced scried) is a Saturday morning cartoon. It is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure meets X-Men. A massive earthquake causes Tokyo to be divided in two: the Mainland and the Lost Ground. Citizens of the Lost Ground start to develop special abilities called Alter powers. Kazuma's Alter is the Shell Bullet, which allows him to punch really really hard three times.

Really, I think continuing to describe s-CRY-ed by explaining the plot is going to make the series sound boring. This is one of my all-time favorite anime, and that's because of HOW it's presented. The action? Kicks ass. The music? Incredible. The characters? Oh my GOD. There is a character called Straight Cougar who can turn anything into an F-Zero car. The situations? One episode has Kazuma fighting a guy who's Alter ability is to summon a Gundam. I am selling this show short. Just watch it and you'll understand. Or read Nyron's review, he gets it.
