Motorcycle riding, tough guy delinquent Kenji Harima loves Tenma Tsukamoto, a girl in his class, which is a problem because Tenma Tsukamoto loves Oji Karasuma, a boy in their class, and Karasuma…likes uh, curry. Neither of the three are clearly aware of the affections of the other, well Karasuma might but who knows what he’s thinking. Harima has vowed to give up his delinquent lifestyle to try to win Tenma’s affections but well, old habits die hard, and also, Harima and Tenma are both dumb as a bag of rocks and cannot be transparent about their feelings if they tried. And somewhere in all of this, Tenma’s friends, her sister, the class, and the rest of their class are all about to be drawn into complete chaos starting their second year of high school.

If you’re into high school gag comedies, School Rumble is some top-shelf stuff. It’s got everything you’d want:, a delinquent who’s a nice guy deep down, a dumb girl, an aloof guy who may or may not be an alien, a rich girl, a sporty girl, a sarcastic girl, a shy beautiful girls who can read minds, a freakishly strong wrestling girl, an intense class representative, a mexican transfer student, a sexy physics teacher, the class perverts, a pack of wild animals and more!
