I always get weird looks when I say it, but after Cowboy Bebop, this is my second favorite Shinichiro Watanabe anime.

Terror in Resonance follows two separate narratives. The first are two high school boys that call themselves "Sphinx", who commit terrorist attacks across Tokyo. The second follows the police trying to both stop the attacks from happening and figure out why they're doing it in the first place.

The show has great direction and animation, but the Sigur Rós-inspired music is my favorite Yoko Kanno score. It's not perfect but Terror in Resonance is an anime that always sticks with me.
